Properly organized nutrition will undoubtedly help to maintain the health of schoolchildren. The need to seriously engage in the formation of the basicsof a healthy lifestyle among studentsis due to a number of objective reasons:
- the foundation of human health is laid in childhood, and, consequently, it is advisable to start developing healthy interests and habits, a valuable attitude to health during this period;
- at the same age, the foundations of a healthy lifestyle are laid, as a system of norms and rules that the child learns in specially projected activities;
- the school period in development is the most sensitive in the formation of key knowledge about the features of the development of the human body, about factors and ways to preserve and develop health.
The school regularly works to improve the service culture, teaches students to self-service and a culture of behavior in public catering places.
Input control of incoming products, operational control during their processing and preparation for sale, and acceptance control of the quality of manufactured products are provided. The school conducts systematic work with parents: at parent meetings, the need for hot meals for children is explained; information and educational work was carried out with school students to instill a food culture and promote a healthy lifestyle: class hours to attract students to hot meals; extracurricular activities.
