One of the main areas that determines the health of the child, his physical and mental development is the organization of high-quality nutrition for the younger generation.
Properly organized nutrition, of course, will help maintain the health of schoolchildren. The need to seriously engage in the formation of the foundations of a healthy lifestyle among students is due to a number of objective reasons:
- the foundation of human health is laid in childhood, and, consequently, it is advisable to start developing healthy interests and habits, a value attitude towards health during this period;
- at the same age, the foundations of a healthy lifestyle are laid, as a system of norms and rules, assimilated by the child in a specially projected activity;
- the school period in development is the most sensitive in the formation of key knowledge about the features of the development of the human body, about the factors and ways of maintaining and developing health.
The school regularly works to improve the culture of service, accustoms students to self-service and a culture of behavior in public catering places.
Input control of incoming products, operational control in the process of their processing and preparation for sale, and acceptance control of the quality of products are provided. The school conducts systematic work with parents: at parent meetings, the need for hot meals for children is explained; informational and educational work was carried out with school students to instill a culture of nutrition and promote a healthy lifestyle: class hours in order to attract students to hot meals; extracurricular activities.

The dining room is provided with a sufficient number of tableware and cutlery in order to comply with the rules of washing and disinfection in accordance with the requirements of these sanitary rules. For washing hands in front of the dining room, there are washbasins with hot and cold water supply with mixers, equipped with dispensers for liquid soap. The school has created the necessary conditions for providing high-quality hot meals to all students.
